Identify a child or teen who may benefit from grief support services at Tomorrow's Rainbow. Support groups are free of charge and are available for children ages 3 years old through high school and their families after the death of a significant person in their life. Our model recognizes that most bereaved children, teens and adults do not need therapy. Peer facilitated support groups allow participants to share in an emotionally safe, fun setting while removing social isolation. Click here to download brochure.
Click here to download the registration application - print one for each child or teen in the family. Have the parent/guardian complete the paperwork. The family may need your assistance with faxing or scanning the application which may be sent via:
Once we receive the paperwork, the family will be contacted. If there is a therapist, the therapist will be required to clear the child/teen in writing prior to starting services.
After the child/teen is cleared to start services, we will schedule their client orientation. Client orientation is offered once monthly on a Saturday at Tomorrow's Rainbow for the entire family. You are welcome to attend alongside the family to learn more about our services and provide support.
At client orientation, the family will be assigned to a group based on the child's age & cause of death.
Services for children in pre-K through elementary school (3-11 years old) are offered on Saturday morning or afternoon, twice a month, with a concurrent adult support group.
Middle School & High School groups meet twice a month on a Monday evening.
The Marjory Stoneman Douglas group is offered twice a month on a Wednesday evening and includes an adult support group.
