10th Annual Hopeful TEARS Grief Summit
Tomorrow's Rainbow Hopeful TEARS Grief Summit with Presenting Sponsor, Children's Services Council of Broward, are excited to bring Dr. Hans Watson, who is returning to provide a neurobiological lens to addressing trauma and grief. He will be here in South Florida for a one-day course on therapy techniques, supportive services and brain reactions. He will discuss research on ways to support and work through traumatic events, and share best practices for vicarious trauma in our teachers, first responsers and youth growing up with trauma in their backyard. You don't want to miss it!
Hope Floats Benefiting Tomorrow's Rainbow- *POSTPONED*
Saturday, March 14th 2020 is the 9th Annual Hope Floats Benefiting Tomorrow's Rainbow, a memorial paper boat parade and advocacy event. Join us for free live music, games for children, arts & crafts, food trucks, face painting, an inflatable slide and more! The annual #BigPaperBoatParade begins at 4pm. Purchase a paper boat in memory of your loved one and watch it set sail! All proceeds go toward bringing smiles, hope, and healing to grieving children. Don't miss the boat!
Children's Grief Awareness Day
November 15th marked Children's Grief Awareness Day. Tomorrow's Rainbow has been honored each year by the School Board of Broward County Proclaiming the Thursday before Thanksgiving to be Children's Grief Awareness Day. This year, one of our MSD students spoke about her experience and how she was able to receive support and camaraderie from her two-legged peers and our four-legged facilitators.
Tomorrow's Rainbow Victim of Theft
On December 9th, 2018, the Tomorrow's Rainbow Thrift & Gift trailer was stolen containing donations that would have helped the charity maintain services free of charge for all clients. The community responded with an outpouring of support, including a $25,000 match grant by Parkland Cares. To help meet our match grant goal, click here!
Pony Jail 'n Bale
Sunday, October 14, 2018 was the 5th Annual Pony Jail 'n Bale benefiting Tomorrow's Rainbow. Inmates were "locked up" in miniature horse stalls awaiting friends and family to "bale" them out. This signature fundraiser included a dunk tank, games, face painting, a Publix pie eating contest, delicious food by Metro Diner, live music and family fun!
